MACM is currently involved in an interesting mix of projects that once again reflects the diversity that we offer and the company's resilience in the current construction downturn. We have taken this slowdown as opportunity to improve our company, by implanting many quality and environmental standards (see Our Standards Section). Kilcronagh Business Park, Cookstown
Kilcronagh Business Park is Mid-Ulster's newest and most modern Business Park. On a 53 acre site on the edge of Cookstown, it has a wide range of office and light industrial space ready for use, along with pre-existing planning permission for several warehousing and office options. Click here to visit the Kilcronagh Business Park website, and to see all the opportunities available.
A Joint Venture project between MACM and Shetland Properties, upon receipt of planning permission detailed infrastructure works commenced. This included large scale earthworks and replacement of existing roads and construction of new internal roads with the park. There was no foul sewer serving the site, so a pumping station and pumped main to the nearest foul sewer were installed.
Storm water was discharged to the stream running alongside the site via interceptors and a SUDS system was provided to alleviate possible flooding of the stream. Works also involved the relocation of overhead high voltage cables and provision of new electricity supply including transformers, street lighting, water, telephone and broadband. To date over 100,000 square feet of offices, showrooms, factories and warehouses have been built in this exciting new development.

Parklands Veterinary Clinic, Dungannon
A 950 square meter state of the art surgery on the Moy Road in Dungannon, the projects started with the demolition and removal of existing structure, which was located just a few feet from a neighbouring property. Highlights include the tight working space (given the neighbour's proximity), specialist joinery fixes required throughout, the natural stonework requirements and the high specification required throughout with respect to operating rooms.
